In addition, it is necessary to take a panoramic film from the patients towards the age of twenty and perform wisdom tooth controls. There is no need for any intervention if the wisdom teeth will be able to drive comfortably and take their place in the dental arch. However, if the wisdom teeth do not fully erupt and will exert negative force on the dental arch, they should be sent to the maxillofacial surgeon to ensure that they are removed.
